“A lot of my work focuses on the examination of everyday common objects and the projection of ourselves onto them. This piece in particular finds a visual disruption in the growth of an iconic tulip-like flower. It challenges our perceived expectation of things and presents an alternative view of our existence in a cartoon-like fashion.”
Tim Lahan is an internationally-exhibited artist and illustrator living and working in Oakland, California. He splits his time between his studio practice where he focuses on painting and drawing alongside various commercial projects of all shapes and sizes.
