“FALL DOWN, GET UP” by Seth Neary

Safe and Sound Gallery (2 Church Street, Suite-2M, Burlington, VT) is proud to present Fall Down, Get Up, a solo exhibition by artist and legendary East Coast snowboarder Seth Neary, on view September 25 through November 22, 2025, with an opening reception on Thursday, September 25, from 5–8 p.m. The show reflects a skateboarder’s mantra of resilience—falling and rising again—echoing Seth’s own journey after a life-changing health event in 2018 that led him to discover healing and expression through analog typography, collage, and design. Deeply personal, the work honors family, perseverance, and the optimism that drives creation against all odds. Alongside his career as co-founder of Burlington’s Driven Studio, Seth devotes personal time to his hand-made practice, channeling the same restless creativity that once defined his snowboarding into raw, analog art.

LETRASET WORKSHOP WIHT SETH NEARY

Join artist and designer Seth Neary for a hands-on, two-hour workshop introducing the art of Letraset — dry-transfer lettering sheets once used by designers and illustrators before digital tools. Teens will learn how to apply and layer type, experiment with collage and composition, and experience the tactile satisfaction of creating with analog materials. This fun, creative session is perfect for students interested in graphic design, illustration, or typography.
